The Innovator

The Innovator is someone with an eclectic personality who is very adventurous and seeks a thrill. They are known for being very passionate about operational efficiency and their creative solutions to problems through thinking outside the box. The Innovator is willing to take risks, enjoys investing, and probably owns some unheard-of cryptocurrency. These are very driven individuals who take initiative on their projects and are capable of solving problems on the go. They perform well in stressful situations, are comfortable with adversity, and use failure as a lesson. Are you an Innovator?

When thinking about the Innovator, there was no doubt that Ben Jones was the perfect fit. Ben, a 2022 Fellow, recently graduated from Ivey Business School at Western University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and now works at Fulfil.IO in Partnerships and Demand Generation. When we asked Ben to describe what it means to be an Innovator, here’s what he had to say:

For me being an Innovator is about taking calculated risks with asymmetric upside potential. It's about not being afraid of taking initiative. It's about being willing to do things other people won't while knowing that every now and again things don't go your way.
