Venture for Canada and Propel Campus Partner to Empower the Next Generation of Talent

TORONTO, ONT./ August 30, 2023 – Venture for Canada (VFC) and Propel Campus are excited to announce a new strategic partnership aimed at bridging the gap between students and impactful work-integrated learning opportunities.

United by a shared mission, VFC and Propel Campus will use Propel’s innovative platform to enhance students’ access to opportunities, creating a thriving ecosystem where young Canadian talent can excel.

Beginning September 2023, this collaboration will unlock paid project opportunities for students on the Propel platform to gain valuable part-time work experience, secure internships at innovative startups and SMBs across Canada, and embark on a one-year professional development program for impact-driven recent graduates.

"We're thrilled to partner with Propel Campus, a key player in connecting with students and campuses nationwide. This alliance amplifies our shared mission by enhancing the accessibility of VFC’s programs for students from coast to coast."

– Jennie Wedd, Senior Lead, Strategic Relations & Marketing at Venture for Canada.

The partnership represents a perfect synergy, combining VFC’s commitment to providing work-integrated learning opportunities for postsecondary students and recent grads with Propel Campus’ innovative approach to simplifying connections between students, clubs, and employers. Together, they aim to enhance career development opportunities for young Canadians, enabling them to expand their professional network, find relevant work opportunities, and stay connected with what’s happening on campuses across Canada.

“We’re super excited to partner with an organization dedicated to supporting career development of students across Canada. In today’s climate, it’s more important than ever."

– Raasil Khan, CEO and CoFounder at Propel Campus.

Propel was designed to broaden access to opportunities for students across Canada, empowering them to propel their career development. By bridging the gap between employers and student clubs, Propel expands the range of opportunities available to students, including workshops, info sessions, panel discussions, and work opportunities.
