This article is part of an 8-part series supported by RBC Foundation, spotlighting Fellows who are shaping their careers with emotional intelligence, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership.

Meet Chloe, a finance and operations thinker who blends analytical skills with empathy and purpose-driven leadership.
For Chloe, the Fellowship was more than just a career accelerator—it was a turning point.
“My fellowship journey was a transformative and inspiring experience that pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me realize my purpose from within. I entered the program with curiosity and left with clarity, confidence, and a renewed perspective on my career and life. Through collaborative teamwork and immersive training, I discovered my passion for problem solving and gained deeper insight into how I want to make an impact. The experience not only sharpened my professional skills but also empowered me to lead with intention and authenticity in everything I do.”
Conversations with alumni and industry leaders also shaped Chloe’s approach to leadership. “Through open discussions, I solidified my commitment to giving back to the community in ways I’m truly passionate about. Connecting with like-minded people who share the same passion for entrepreneurship has helped me discover my inner voice and speak up with more confidence. These conversations sparked a stronger sense of purpose and resilience, especially in the unknown. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about a title or position—it’s about authenticity, embracing change, and staying grounded in my values.”
One highlight of her Fellowship experience was the Community Impact Challenge with the City of Kingston. “Starting from scratch and building a final plan through collaboration taught me the power of teamwork. Navigating challenges, combining different perspectives, and creating feasible solutions showed me how impactful collective effort can be. It not only strengthened my problem-solving skills but also deepened my appreciation for shared vision, communication, and perseverance.”
Her advice for future Fellows? “You are capable of turning your vision into reality. Everyone is on their own entrepreneurial journey, and you have the power to create your own path. Be present, trust your inner self, and stay confident in your ability to make an impact. Even if your work helps just one person, it is a success. This belief continues to guide me to lead with intention, stay grounded in my values, and create meaningful change with purpose.”
